The first building of its kind in Canada, the Centre For Native Family and Child Well Being aspires to become a place that will offer targeted and culturally relevant services and amenities to urban First Nations peoples of all ages. The design incorporates Native cultural elements with a contemporary iteration of a longhouse that will be used for counseling, meeting, playing, circle sessions and ceremonies.
